I am a Registered Nurse in USA & Currently working in a Hospital as A Registered Nurse. Recently my Canadian Immigration file deny because officer think i am not performing the duties which mention under noc 3152-Registered Nurse, Which i do perform all the duties. May be i was'nt be able to explain them on File. My Question is that can i reapply if RN category is available on list again in July 2011 with better evidence. :(

Hi patrick,
Im sorry to hear what happened to your application..But, I am sure that you can re apply as soon as your NOC becomes available..
Hope you won't mind my question, In what stage was your application denied? In CIO eligibility or in your visa office? Are you a post 6/26 applicant?

I submit my application on Nov 15 2010 with all the document. On Feb 24 2011 they deny my file and return my fees also. Its look like they deny my application on very first stage. According to them my job reference letter is not showing that i was performing all or some of the duties which mention under noc-3152-registered nurse. Which i been performing all of those duties since 4 years in Hospital.

If your Hospital or the place you work dont mention the duties on their experience letter, then you need to write down the duties in your own word with the example.

Example first duty
1)Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
yes i do performe this duty
Example ................(then write the example how you performe this duty).

Please correct me if i am wrong on metioning duties. So i can mention the right way when i apply again. Thank You

Even the best immigration consultant can't persuade/influence an employer to write a proper letter as asked by Canadians.

Best way, if some one who's application has been approved show us how they describe the duties, that will help a lot.
Thank You
