Hi all,
I thought it would be helpful to have a list of sites that have helped you with your French studies. Here are some that have helped me:
www. rfi.fr - More geared toward intermediate/advanced users, lots of great material. Click on "langue française" link. They have some great listening exercises as well - and TCF C1/C2 listening excerpts - they're hard, but really great for practice. You can download "telecharger" the excerpts onto your Ipod and print out the transcripts to follow.
http://www. ccdmd.qc.ca/fr/ - Quebec french language site. Again, most of the stuff on there I believe is for Int. and Adv, but they have some great grammatical info. Plus, a practice test online.
http://ww w.francaisfacile.com/ - This one has info for all levels, though you probably need some French just to surf through the site.
http://ww
w.tv5.org/TV5Site/enseigner-apprendre-francais/accueil_apprendre.php - TV5 website geared toward French learners - also more for Int - Adv learners.
http://www.bb c.co.uk/languages/french/ - Yes, the BBC! Learn French with the British, lol...great online course with videos with and without English/French subtitles. And they have beginner's stuff though, and instructions in English, unlike the other sites.
ht tp://forum.wordreference.com/forumdisplay.php?f=25 - I LOVE this forum. Any doubts you may have in French or any other language, and there are always tons of people online to help you out. When you register you fill in your native language, and then as others help you, you too can help others! Great for translation/grammatical doubts and such.
ht tp://www.fda.ccip.fr/tef/epreuves - A few TEF sample questions.
These are some that have helped me. Will update if I find anything else. Anybody else have links they'd like to share? Just fill in the "gaps"if the links don't seem to work.
