I am Canadian citizen and living in Canada with my wife. My sister would like to visit us in August with her husband for 10 days. They are preparing for their TRV application now. Here are the list of the documents they are providing. Do you guys have any other suggestion to make their application stronger.

- Copy of their air ticket (not bought just booked)
- Copy of their hotel booking (they will stay in a hotel for 10 days)
- Itinerary for 10 days (with costs)
- Cover letter explaining that they would like to visit me and my wife for 10 days
- Information and statements about their assets (apartments)
- Copy of the business registration (my sister owns her business)
- Employment letter from the brother in law's work (stating his position, salary, annual leave dates)
- Bank statement (Does it have to be of every transaction of last 6 months? It has too many pages. If they upload only "remaining balance statement" would it be enough?)
- Letter of invitation from us (Does it have to be notarized?)
- Birth certificate of their 2 children, whom are staying back home.
- How can i show that i am officially related to my sister? (If we upload the copy of our birth certificates would it work?)
- I've sponsored my wife for inland spousal sponsorship and her application is approved, but still waiting for eCOPR. Does it affect my sister and her husband's TRV application?

No need for list of all transactions for 6 months. A general sense that they have the savings and that they haven’t been loaned or sent a large sum of money is what is really important. Balance from every month and amount deposited and withdrawn every month should be fine and would include one month of transactions.

No need to notarize your invitation letter.

Any document that shows you both have the same parents should be fine.

Has your wife been living and working in Canada? How long has she lived in Canada? Has your brother or SIL ever applied to work, study or immigrate to another country? Do you have any other siblings and where do they live? Do your parents have a TRV and have they spent time visiting Canada? Have your brother and SIL traveled internationally before especially to countries like US, UK , Australia, etc.? What is their country of citizenship and do they currently live in that country? How much savings are they showing approximately? Liquid savings? How old are the children they are leaving behind? That certainly helps their application. When did you move to Canada? How did you immigrate?

I've moved to Canada 13 years ago. My wife came to Canada June 2022, and applied for spousal sponsorship. (She visited Canada about 4 times before)We've been living together in Canada since then. She does not work as she haven't received her eCOPR yet.
- As for my sister and brother in law, they are Mongolian and live there. They are leaving behind their 2 daughters who are 12 and 9. They have travelled to Korea, Singapore, China, Thailand. My sister studied in Canada for 6 months in 2009. She also travelled to Europe but it was also more than 10 years ago. They have about 40.000 CAD in their savings account (combined).
- I have one more older sister and one younger brother, both live in Mongolia.
- My father has not applied for TRV ever.

Is the 40k liquid? Their travel history is weak but otherwise have a pretty strong profile. The fact that their children will remain in Mongolia makes their case much stronger.
