Canadian banks don’t support nominations or provide LMIAs. They would have to prove that no Canadian, PR or person with valid work permit cannot be hired. They would have to show why they must hire a foreign worker and banks don’t go through the process. For example, they don’t support Ontario nominations.

No. Big banks can hire within Canada. Tell your friend to ask HR, but doubt HR is going to go through and pay for a LMIA proving no Canadian or PR can do the job.

What SINP stream? Again the banks have to apply for a Job Approval Letter explaining why they need a foreign worker.

So friend will have to talk to the bank and see if they will apply for a job approval letter. Friend has to ask first and get an answer, and not rely on a forum. Assume education completed in Sask matches work being done at the bank.
