Hi,

We applied in November under the skilled worker stream for SINP and we are still waiting to hear, it's been just over 7 months for us. We also have a job offer.

My immigration consultant has told us the processing time is 6-8 months, but Immigration have had such a high influx of applications it could take longer!

The wait is a nightmare!

I applied at the end of october (with job offer) and got my file number on Nov 2nd. Still haven't heard anything and it is over 8 months now. On the phone I was told the process of my application is in the middle. I could get it before the end of september but shouldn't be surprised if not.

Someone else posted somewhere that they were looking for two new people with the SINP office.
I looked at it... they are looking for a immigrant officer for two years and an data analyst.

They are understaffed so it will take time and my guess is that we are lucky if we get it by the end of the year. No one on the phone gives any processing times, they keep saying it depends on who is getting your file and so forth.

Good luck to everyone

Be prepared for a frustrating long wait.
