SINP- Skilled Worker vs. Existing Work Permit question

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could clear something up in the Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program information regarding Skilled Worker category and Existing Work Permit category.

From what I am reading, it looks like the only thing that makes the categories different is that the Existing Work Permit category requires a minimum of 6 months worked in Canada in a job (class A or B), whereas the Skilled Worker section doesn't.

Does anything else divide these? I don't understand why already having work experience would just include one more restriction than having no experience and living outside of Canada.

Here is a link to the information I am referencing: saskimmigrationcanada.ca/skilled

Thank you.

I think you should also take note that there must be a LMO for the existing work permit. meaning work done under off-campus work permit, and other open work permit experience wont count.
