SINP rejection : Saving certificates vs Deposit certificate

Hi all,

One colleague of Aug 2016 OID got an email from SINP that they DON'T accept "Saving Certificates" for POF??!
I know SINP would accept Depoit Certificates for POF.

But now I'm sooo confused, what is the difference between the two -as people may get rejected because of this-?

I think deposit certificates for the deposit with a term (open date, tenor, maturity date). Saving account of your colleague maybe like a current account (no tenor and user withdraws at any time)?

Can I ask SiNP requests your friend to send new POF or they rejected the app? Thanks

I used savings bank account and got nominated. I attached bank manager"s certificate on bank letter head about 3 months holding as well. This is the safest way.

I have also some doubts related with this issue. I will give my time deposit account but the maturity date of my account is 30 days and has been renewed every month since a year. Will it create any problem?
