did you came from alberts and started working in SK ? or you came from outside of the country , i am still confused if you are working in other province so you cant nominate yourself under this piot project if you move to sk that what a lady officer told me today at SINP officer as it seems strange as its never mentioned in there that a person have to be from outside canada .

Hospitality Sector Pilot Project

NOTE: As of April 30, 2010, employers must receive approval from the SINP to participate in the project before their employees arrive in Canada. The SINP will not accept applications from hospitality sector employees who arrive in Canada prior to their employer receiving SINP approval.

The Hospitality Sector Project is a pilot initiative we are currently testing – its duration and scope are limited.

Under the Hospitality Sector Pilot Project the SINP can nominate foreign workers that are currently working in Saskatchewan for a minimum of six months on a temporary work permit issued by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), supported by Service Canada's (SC) Temporary Foreign Worker labour market opinion confirmation, and in one of the following categories:

Food/Beverage Server (NOC 6453)
Food Counter Attendant/Kitchen Helper (NOC 6641)
Housekeeping/Cleaning Staff (NOC 6661)
Workers in these categories must first begin working in Saskatchewan on a temporary foreign work permit for a company that has been approved by the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). If an approved business offers the worker permanent employment, after a minimum of 6 months employment the worker may apply to the SINP for permanent resident status.

Hi Arjun1444,

Unforetunately, I got email that my application would be returned because i had not submitted confirmation letter for Job Approval which was still on process. So I will have to start over once my employer get this.

By the way, I used to work in Alberta before came to work in SK.
Also one of my co-worker who recently nominated was in AB before he started work in SK, too.
So I don't understand why the lady said that. IF SO, I can't apply for Sinp either. Where can i make sure about it?

Hi,

Get your job approval to youy employer. In my case we ask the sinp office regina how to get the job approval, they instruct us to tell our employers to open their email adress because its been a month was sitting the approval letter in in their email ad. Im thinking if we have same case, hope could help.

What if the applicant exits Alberta to Montana (USA) and comes back the same day with a new work permit to work in Saskatchewan in occupation under hospitality sector pilot program?

Is that considered as an entry to Saskatchewan from outside Canada or ?
