SINP Application

Hi Guys

I am curious about the steps that are needed to be taken after being approved for SINP.
I heard that people just get on the plane to Canada and get their temporary visas done when they land (this was being said about Edmonton)
being Irish I don't need a visa to visit Canada. So may this be true? Or do you have to apply for a temp work visa?

I have applied International Skilled Worker Application to SINP more than 8 months. When I login it is showing in process. Could you please let me know how many days require for getting result ?
