Singapore What is next?...please help!

My wife in Thailand got a letter from Singapore requesting for Thai police clearance certificate, and she is getting it this week.
Singapore started processing our application on June-11-2009. so my question is What is next for us in this process?....are we close to get the visa? or is this request(police clearance certificate ) part of a long process and we still have to wait for months and months?

ahh it depends on how long you have been waiting. It takes 4 to 8 months on average dealing with Singapore office
