Hello
I updated my study permit in May 2020 for one year and tried to apply my Sin number one week back. My address in my Sin number is different so when I applied for renewal, I gave my new address and proof of address. But my application got rejected saying that my residential address and mailing address is not matching. I reapplied yesterday and add my friend’s name and address under the mailing option and submitted his proof of address. When I called service Canada and enquired about this, they told me mailing address should be in my name and wait for the rejection letter so that I could reapply. My sin number will expire in July. But I have a valid study permit. I work in a health care field. Is there any problem if my sin number got expire before I reapply???
