Can anyone tell what is this SIN Card ?? Is it need to work off campus.. ? where we have to go for this Card and how do we get this card. What are the procedure to get it and how long does it takes to get he SIN card. we can approach as soon as we land in canada to wait for 6 months for it ??

Social Insurance Number required for work in Canada. You go to a Service Canada office, with your study permit allowing you to work and apply. They will give you the number in about 15 minutes. There is a Service Canada office at Toronto International, no you don't have to wait 6 months.
