Greetings to all,
I am currently working in Montreal with a temporary work permit. I do not really want to apply thru Quebec and have decided to go for the Federal program. As you may know, CIC have implemented the simplified process. I have a big concern if I qualify for it or not. I will be applying in my country of citizenship, not in Buffalo, US. Here is my question: If I have "arranged employment in Canada" do not qualify for the simplified, but, just there is the confusion. I am not sure if this refer only to "arranged permanent employment" which I do not really have from the company sponsoring me. Some sources say that I should go for the old process others that can use the simplified.
Your advice is appreciated!
Carlos
PS: In my opinion, CIC website is not consistent and not clear enough.
