Simple Questions about citizenship application

Hello everyone

I only want to make sure that everything is right and will send my application on following week,

1.Because of no enough space ,my last word of last name added later by officer in landing paper and in Pr Card my last name is without that last word , now It will cause a problem to write correct last name?

2.ESL transcripts are acceptable as education history -not education proof? ( I opened the seal , is it OK to send in opened envelope)?

3.My photos are for Dec , Should I renew them or 1 month remaining is fine?

4.How long takes the process time and to return application after they receive it?

5.In residence calculator , as reason Tourism is appropriate?

6. CIC doesnt need copy of stamps in the passport , right?(because I read some one translated stamped pages)

My personal advice:

1 - Write your names as it appears in your immigration documents (PR card, Landing paper). If they are different to what is on your passport, attach a piece of paper to explain.

2 - transcripts can be provided as education history/proof. If they envelope says "not valid if opened" then you might want to get a new one.

3 - I would re-take the photos, won't cost much, don't forget to get the back of the photos stamped

4 - usually within 6 weeks.

5 - I wrote something a bit more detailed like "went to X city for shopping"

6 - according to the checklist, they only need the page containing your photo and information.

Really I went to 2-3 countries only as tourist and purpose of trip was leisure (see new cities and etc) So is it problematic to write Tourism or leisure?

You can write what you think is most reasonable, it's just I included the cities.

So it doesn't matter that biographical page is from old passport ?(I haven't renew my passport)

Does that mean your current passport is expired?
If that is the only passport you have had in the past four years, then according to checklist yes just send that one.

Two more questions:

I want to add additional documents and add stamps in passports , IS it OK to add CBSA Stamp that they reviewed my residency(Secondary Examination, they asked some question and routine search at airport when I was coming back from a trip and stamped my passport, I don't know what was that for?!) besides the other entry/exit stamps ?or it can take more attentions and eyes on my application?

2.How CIC can realize that I have another valid passport?or If don't provide a copy, what will happen?(Just asking , I will provide both passports)

1 - I would not provide too many additional documents: that will raise some doubts why you provide so many more. If you want, provide a full copy of passports instead of the info page.

2 - They will get CBSA report themselves. There is a checkbox in the application form.

Send all passports covering the 4-year period. If you only have one passport and it does not cover the entire 4 years, include a note giving that information. Otherwise, you run the risk of having your application returned.
