While my PR was being processed, I got married. I notified IRCC and they asked me to send multiple documents and update some forms so that they can add my spouse to the application.
As part of the additional document request I am supposed to send an updated IMM 0008 form. My question is should I be signing this form? The help centre states I don't have to sign these forms when I apply online https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1523&top=4. But I am not sure if this is different since this is an additional document request. Also, is it safe to merge this form with other documents since I was provided only a single slot to upload all documents?
