My sibling is a Canada PR. Does this add any point to my profile. if yes, Where and how do i mention it to get more points. TIA
At present there is not...but an official proposal announced by the incumbent government does exist which will likely get implemented in 2017.bhavcaluk said:There are no points in CRS for siblimg in canada
There are technical difficulties, IRCC already stated that everyone will get those points before the next draw.It was already declared that 15 points will be added for having a sibling in Canada but more than 24hrs have passed and I still don't have those additional 15 points
Anyone else having that same problem?
I think you'll need to have landed in Canada for your brother to claim points for the Express entry profile. Your rights as a PR only come in effect after you receive your formal PR on completing the landing formalities. So he'll have to wait for you to make your landing or apply independently.Hi All,
I have got my passport stamped after my express entry profile got approved. My brother is also applying for canadian PR.
I wanted to ask if he can claim 15 marks in his profile now as I have not landed yet and planning sometime later next year.
If yes then what all docs are to be shared once he gets ITA.
Please suggest.
Until you actually land you are not a PR so will have no benefits as a PR until then.Hi All,
