Hello

Some questions.
Can the bank statements be from several different banks to add up to a total sum? ie, a Canadian bank account, and 3 Japanese accounts.

Also, can I provide investment statements where I have a significant amount of money?

And can I show the statements to the value of some stock shares that I own?

Yes to all questions.
You can submit statements from different banks, banks from different countries, I have done it the last time I applied because we moved this year to the US and we still have bank accounts in different countries.
I went back and read your previous posts. Sorry to hear about your dad.
I was in the very same position few months back. Sadly, my visa took more than one month to be issued.
Did you submit letters from your dad's Dr. and hospital? If not get a full report on your dad's condition and send it to the embassy with a detailed letter expalining the purpose of your visit.

Really appreciate the words and thanks for helping me out. Also sorry to hear about your ill family member as well. I will get a letter about his condition for a doctor in Canada and include it. Like you, I have a feeling we will not reach the deadline we are asking for.
My wife has been to Canada with me 2 times before but the system was much different. We simply went to the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo Japan and they were very friendly and helpful. How times have changed sadly...
