Should you translate passport stamps even if not requested?

Hello All,

I have a question for you. For the citizenship test and interview, should you have all non-English entry/exit passport stamps translated? The letter we received from IRCC telling us to come for the test/interview did not say anything about translating the stamps. Should we do that on our own initiative? We have 19 non-English stamps in total (4 passports including children).

Not required unless they specifically request it. They may also ask for it during the interview though. I took the risk and went to interview with no translation, but in all my stamps dates were in standard numeric format, just airport names were in other languages like Turkish, slavic languages etc. So they did not ask for them. But I read here that some people were asked to provide stamp translation during the interview and they were given a deadline to send the translation later. But their stamps were in arabic (including dates) and non-standard calendars (hijri/lunar etc.)

My officer compared all dates in the passport with what was on the presence calculator sheet. If you don't have it in English or French he wont be able to read it.
