Should the Educational Qualificactions be inline with the Work Experience

I have done my Bachelor's of Engineering course in Electronics and Communication Branch from India.

However,my relevant experience of 5 years is in Software Analyst(IT) field in India.

Would I be able to claim the points for both Bachelor's degree and work experience in this case while applying for FSW program ?Or the relevant work experience will be null and void for me?

I have been looking for this information for quite a long time now but not able to get any concrete answer on the same.I amhoping that I will get an answer on this forum which will also be beneficial for others having the same case as me.

Yes you would be able to claim the points for your Bachelor's degree.
