Should Sponsoring Spouse Declare Travel History ?

Hello All,

I am a PR and trying to sponsor my wife. She has to fill up IMM 5562E. Supplementary Travel Information. Here the travel history of spouse is also asked. I have already submitted this as part of my own PR application (FSW- EE). As her spouse, should I fill this again ? Or is this only meant for those people coming in family classes whose spouses are not Canadian PR/ Citizen ?

I am asking because I have travelled extensively and there is a lot to fill for me. So if its not needed again, that will save me some pain

  The principal applicant and all family members included in the application who are 18 years of age or older must complete this form.

You are not included in the application, as you are the sponsor, not an applicant. So, no.

But when she is filling the form, it asks for travel history of herself and her family members. So when she is filling the form should she include my travel history as I am her spouse ?

I don't believe so. Your travel is irrelevant as you are not an applicant "family member".

It means her and her accompanying family members. Travel history of family members who are not accompanying her or you as the spouse is irrelevant.
