Hi,
I am a Canadian Permanent Resident. I recently applied for my Citizenship. My husband and I have been together for 6 years (he lives in the Caribbean) we have a four-year old son, who is Canadian, and we have been married for almost a year and a half. I have a great job and can support my family. I have no issues in sponsoring him but because we have been apart for so long, and it is affecting my son, not being with his dad, I suggested to my husband to apply for a visitor visa. I want to know if that is something to consider or if we we just start the sponsorship. I know that the wait time is almost 13 months. Please advise.
