If they haven't asked you to submit it, than let it go.

Jigzzy What are you saying?? Se7en bro Don't be mad, IELTS is the main document mentioned in the checklist which is not to be submitted later but if your course is included with ESL then let it go. If not with ESL then submit it ASAP with medical by adding a letter that ealrier u forgot to submit it with your file or something else with strong format.

Geez, I don't know how you can do this blunder, havn't submitted IELTS.

Moreover, CHC ask only the documents whick are required to them like medical, PCC, and may be then request for documents to submit again(2ndtime) not to submit 1st time, which are mentioned in the checklist. Because that's obvious the docs which are strictly mentioned in the checklist we have to submit all in the first time with the submission of file.

@mehtab.92. IELTS for the VO is strictly optional. However they recommend that you submit IELTS with complete application but it's not mandatory. 90% of the universities / colleges require IELTS for the admission. So if se7en got LOA from a university, that will definitely be okay with VO.

Guys i secured admission without IELTS and not any language or english condition is given by the university in LOA.

I didnt submit IELTS with my application becoz physically IELTS report was not with me. I received my report 2 days after i filed my application.

I think 6 band will not be a impressive, so i have decided not to submit.

IELTS is strongly preferred as English Language Proficiency proof. VO said there are a number of reasons for which they do not consider TOEFL and recommend IELTS for any visa application. For SPP, 6.0 is required.

Also, they said that even if your course does not required IELTS/TOEFL scores, they still recommend to have IELTS scores in your application.

Some people raised question that they had given SAT or GRE or GMAT etc and TOEFL. Do they need to give IELTS as well? The answer was No. They said if you have given higher exams (like GRE, GMAT, etc), and are admitted to a reputed university/college, they do not need IELTS then.

But for other cases, yes IELTS is a must.

He got the above information from the seminar conducted by CHC Delhi Visa officers.

Rest up to you either you're submitting or not. Atleast enquire with any reputed consultants in your country.

@ Se7en, Jigzzy, Habil: I agree with you all. The working condition and rules might differ from country to country however some rules/guidelines might be universal.

Hello Brothers!!!!

I have a bit related problem of documents. I have posted this question before but I am not satisfied with answers. Please help me out :'( :'(

Here is my story;

I have completed BSc (4 years) here, and in Canada I applied for a POST-SECONDARY DIPLOMA PROGRAM in a COLLEGE. They didn't require any university document ( b/z program was post-secondary).

When I was applying for the visa, I didn't have my FINAL TRANSCRIPTS & PASS CERTIFICATE (b/z my final year's result wasn't announced at that time). I just send my 3 years mark-sheets, and a character certificate (Issued by my department).

But now, after having my Medical Exam done, I have to send back my PP to CHC.
I am confused here; ??? ???

That,

1) Shall I send these transcripts and PC. (B/z Someone says, don't send them bcz CHC haven't asked you to submit these. Others say that, if you'll send, there may be threat to your case in a sense that you'll be memorizing the VO that you already have a bachelors)

2) If I don't send these, then there may be re-action by VO of not send these docs..

Ab karoon to kiya karoon.. :( :( :(

Please give me satisfactory answers. I will to send my PP back tomorrow.

Thanks.

hmm.. tricky situation. If they haven't asked you to submit it, than no need for it. Coz, they might have overlooked your Bachelor's degree right now (my guess) and by sending them your transcript, you are confirming them that you are bachelors now and your are going to pursue a Diploma despite of having bachelors and they MIGHT reject your application on the basis of course. Either way, it's 50 50. So, don't bother sending them. You might get lucky..

Hello Nightrocker,

I have a friend who is lawyer n spent almost 8 years in UK and helped people in immigration matters on personal basis. Right now he is sitting here with me, i asked him what to be done in this situation.

He simply answered, dont submit any document until n unless u r particularly asked by the embassy to submit.

He says keep your documents simple and dont bother VO on extra docs. This is the answer for both of us. :-*
