Should I say yes for 2022 taxes if I am filing my taxes this upcoming week?

Edit :
Made a mistake, didn't mean 2023 taxes but 2022

I'm about to apply for citizenship online today. I have filed my taxes every year since 2016 so I believe even if I say no to 2022 it will be fine, but I'm wondering if I should say yes anyway because I'll be doing it this week or should I just say no?

Thank you

Depends on when you submit your application. If you still haven't filed taxes when you submit it, you will answer 'Yes' on the required to file question, and 'No' on the have you filed question. No need to overthink, just answer truthfully. As long as you are good with the CRA, everything will be fine

You are filing taxes for 2022, not for 2023. 2023 tax season will open after February 2024. No-one can file taxes for 2023 as yet.

Sorry I meant 2022 taxes, my bad.
I believe you should just file your taxes first before you tick yes to 2022. (Only if 2022 completes your 3rd year of filing taxes) because if the IRCC officer is a stickler for dates it will mean your T2 will show date you filed and your citizenship application will show date you signed and you don't want something as little as this to hinder your application. This is just my personal advice though.

You should select the following if you are submitting your citizenship application before submitting your taxes
Required to File Taxes - Yes
Filled Taxes - No
