Should I notarize a new IMM006 ? (6 months almost over)

Hello.

My girlfriend applied online for a TRV and an imm006 attached in October 2020, over 5 months ago, she still didn't get an acceptance nor a rejection in her online application.

"COVID-19" and "Other" were written in the application for prioritizing.

The canada.ca website shows that the processing time for a visa from Lebanon is 87 days, however it's now been over 150 days since she applied.

The canada.ca website mentions that the IMM006 is only valid for 6 months. So my question is, should I re-notarize a new copy and let her send it by email to the IRCC and in the email mention the new traveling dates?

You should be fine. If a new IMM006 is needed you will be asked for one but since you application is already being processed you should be fine.

Do you think a new IMM006 will reduce the time needed for a TRV. I'm thinking maybe they didn't notice that the application is prioritized or they didn't notice the IMM006 submitted with the application since it was uploaded in the "other" section?
