Should I Link My Visitor Visa Application to My GC Key Account That I'll Create ?

I applied for tourist visa with my mother via my mother's GC key account as a dependent child considering I have a disability although I'm older 18 years old. It is approved for both of us a while ago. Now, I'd like to create a GC account on my own, because I will apply for work permit. Should I link my tourist visa application to my GC account that I'll create to see tourist visa application and approval in my account ?
