Hi guys,
I have two years of part time experience which I gained while doing my bachelors in my home country.
In my study and work permit applications, I put the date as May 2011 to 2013. I was gonna apply for FSW last year with this experience and when I got my letter of reference from my employer, I realized my mistake in the dates. The correct date was supposed to be May 2009 to 2011. I decided to withdraw the application and not rely on this part time experience because of the date inconsistency (and lack of supporting documents). Now I have applied for CEC and I have put the correct date in my personal history. I’m still worried that CIC will come after me for incorrectly inputting the dates of the part time experience in my previous applications.
Is this a possibility?
Also, the work was for my university - like a work study program. Does this make me a government employee? I was never formally employed by the university.
Note: I have a letter of reference
