Hello All,
I found this website a few days ago and it has been pretty helpful. This is my first post and I need some honest/blunt opinion.
Education
10th: 76% (CBSE)
12th: 70% (CBSE)
Undergrad: 65% B.Tech Computer Science (2015-2020) MDU, Rohtak
Backlogs: Number of subjects - 8, Repetition - 18
IELTS: Overall Score 8 (Took the test 2 months ago)
Work Ex: 1 Year (Digital Marketing)
The reason it took me 5 years to complete my 4-year course is BACKLOGS. My profile looks pretty bad to be honest because of my undergrad and all those backlogs. I hired a consultant to give me the options and the first thing that came out of his mouth was UCW (which I had no intention of going to). I was trying for the 1-year graduate certificates (Ontario) in either project management or media (Digital Marketing related), my interest is towards finance as well but he said that you'll get rejected because of your background so no point.
The agent still sent an application to UCW and what do you know, I got the conditional offer letter for MBA + Foundation course and the $5000 CAD scholarship (just like everyone). I have read numerous posts here that UCW is a diploma mill and the future is ruined if you enter that private university, what other options am I left with though?
Had applied to George Brown and got rejected because of backlogs, applied to centennial and Seneca for project management but haven't received any update from them.
My question here is that if UCW is the only option left for me then should I take it and work up my ladder for the next decade or more, or should I stay in India and forget about abroad? Aiming for September 2022 Intake since May 2022 seems pretty close.
Any input will be appreciated.
