Should I be adding my spouse profile to my express entry application?

I had submitted express entry application in 2019 . In 2020 December I gave my biometrics for express entry application. In mid 2021 I got married and sent my marriage information . I got an email saying I 'can' add my spouse to my application. I have not heard anything after that. Is it compulsory to have my spouse https://showbox.tools/ go over all the process just so that I can add him? I don't want to add him on my application and delay it further. I have not heard anything back so I am not sure if the application is pending due to my spouse information or it's just general covid delay. Any idea?

Yes, it's compulsory to add your spouse to the application. You need to submit all of the forms to add your spouse as well as PCCs, having your spouse complete the medical, etc.
