Should I apply TRV again? I am on work permit in Canada and applied my TRV in March but never heard back.

I want to immediately go back to India because my father is ill. I never heard anything from IRCC on my application. Will it be helpful for my cause if I were to apply TRV again since I have heard that they are issuing TRV fast if you apply after 7 september.

Im sorry about your situation and I hope everything turns out well. Well applying for trv is a big gamble. When does your work permit expire? Bear in mind that if you get the portal outside Canada, it will only make the process even harder for yourself as you have to let the incompetent IRCC know that you’re outside Canada, get the PPR and come to Canada once you’re ready. By now you know how long this cycle will take. Hope it helps

Thanks for response. I just got my work permit extended until Nov 2022.
