Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi,
On December 15, 2016, I will be eligible to apply for my citizenship. I have done my CIC calculation.
I should apply on December 15, or wait few days wondering when holiday will start!
Need honest advice thanks a lot...

The more buffer you give the more better it is. 1 month to 2 months extra buffer is good.
Make sure you calculate your entries/exits properly to ensure your residence calculator is correct.

If I were you, I'll probably apply on January 02, 2017 >> after the holidays. By this, I'll be adding a buffer time especially my application will highly likely not be touched during the holidays period.

It does not really matter. I signed the application when I completed 1464 days.

I would suggest,
if you have entry/exit Canada N times,
if you have full time job and have good tax record,
then give
N+3 days buffer.

if you were unemployed, and tax record is bad,

give N*2 + 10 days buffers.

If I were you , then certainly would give some buffer. Ideally two weeks in case you miscalculated or missed a trip. It could just be one trip or one incorrect input to your entry and you maybe going through the whole process again after 8-10 months.
