Hello Experts,
weeks ago I received my Canada visa for Federal Skilled Worker Program, and I am planning to visit to Canada in days of new year to put in order my permanent residence status.
I was reading through sources that I need to apply for Permanent Residence Card (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/prcard.asp), but then I have noticed in the guidelines (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5445ETOC.asp)
If you are a new permanent resident, you will automatically receive your new card by mail, once you first arrive in Canada, as part of the immigration process. You do not need to apply for a PR card.
So if someone knows went through the processes, can you please suggest, must I apply for it, or I will receive it automatically once ...
Also if it is possible, please write in details the procedure a new resident must take once arrived to Canada.
Thanks and Best Regards,
Grigor
