Should/Can I apply for PRTD?

Hello there,

I received my COPR in November, I completed the PR soft landing on November 9th, 2022 but left for India on the 12th. I was technically in Canada for 2 days (or 4). I was hoping to receive the PR card to my address in Canada and that my friend would bring it to India in February. However, I received an email requesting me to resubmit my photos to process my PR card. Any advice on how to proceed? I am planning on applying for PRTD but worried that it might get rejected and affect my PR status.

There's no reason for the PRTD to be rejected. Yes, you should apply for a PRTD.

Thank you, phew! I was concerned that as I do not meet the 'residency obligation', I might be rejected.
