Shorter Length of PGWP received

Hello,

I recently graduated from a 1 year diploma program in Animation. I applied for the PGWP after finishing the course and while my batch mates all received the PGWP for 1 year, I received it only for 8 months.

What should I do, can I get it rectified and extended to 1 year? Also my passport is valid till 2018. So that can't be the issue I am thinking.

Please help. This will have a great effect on my CEC, after 1 year.

Technically, a 1-year course, is actually 8 months of studies, so it is not that unusual what happened to your case.

Agreed. We see this fairly often here. There's nothing to extend or appeal.

This is why a 2 year course is strongly recommended (to ensure a 3 year PGWP).
