Shortage of time to process visa

The Start date given by the college in Canada is 1st of June. I have applied for visa 2 weeks ago.. according to processing time it is 3 weeks and there is no update on my application..the application status is same stating it is under process at IRCC.
Is there any chance of Visa getting rejected because of shortage of time?????

Others can comment as well but doubt time alone would be a reason for rejection however applying so close to a start date the odds of getting an approval are slim given processing times are not committed but just averages. Worst case you should have a plan b to request a deferral.

I can ask to postpone my classes but how can I show that to ircc
