Shipment of household before landing to Canada on PR

Greetings!
I need your advise on shipment of household before landing. I'm an Indian Citizen currently working in UAE. I got my PR and planning to land in Canada in September2011. I'm leaving UAe in month of July, than I will fly for Canda after staying 2 months in India. as I'm staying here in the UAE for 5 years most of my household is here. I want to ship my household from here directly to Canada on my friends name. Could you please advise me tht there is any charges(Custom Duty) for sending my household before I land?
