Hi All,

Want to share my timeline for SOWP application

Applied online on 27.10.2015 Apply via CIC website. I am holding a PGWP and married for 6mths.
Spouse has 1 previous student visa rejection yrs ago

Medical Request- on Dec 29 2015
Medicals Done - on Dec 31 2015
Medicals Passed - on Jan 4th 2016
Passport Request - Jan 7th 2016
Passport Submitted - Jan 10th via vfs
Got approved letter on Jan 12 2016
Got Passport on -Jan 13, 2016


Cic mention process time is 3months,ya, it really takes 3months.
I am holding a PGWP and NOCB.

Try to submit all the useful doc.
I heard that if your account without over 10000cad, you better not submit the bank statement.
Neither me nor husband submit bank statement cause we don't have too much money in our account.
We got approved so I believe that's not necessary.

HI,

Can anyone help me in some information regarding Spouse open work permit.
We got married in Oct, 2015 in usa and he is in usa right now.
So, should we apply from Canada or usa or India ?

I have open work permit till 2018 with NOC B level JOb in Saskatchewan and will be filling his SINP with me. But with SINP he cannot work in other provinces. So, we thought before we apply for SINP in Feb this year, we should apply work permit before.

What do you thing from where to apply with fast processing time ?
