Hello friends,

Is there anybody who applied at SFU for University Transfer Program or other courses? I am thinking to apply but they require a 6.5 IELTS band but I got a 6. Can someone tell me if they can accept me conditionally and before I start my Transferable Courses, I'll do ESL with SFU in order to fulfill the English requirement ?
So, in a nutshell I want to apply at both the programs at SFU. Is that possible ?? Can they accept me at this condition, that I first do the ESL with them ?? Please help me guys

I have applied for MSc Computer Science in mid jan and waiting for the response.
My IELTS is 7.5(in one module I got a 6) so even I am in the dilemma whether I would be accepted with this score.

I've tried to ask them but they said I need 6.5 overall with no part less than 6.0 . I have 6 overall with 6.5 S, 6L, 5.5 R, and 5 W. Do you think I should apply anyway ?

I have seen folks got admission with lower bands than the mentioned in SFU ( Myself from SFU) but they had a strong academic profile . So if your profile 'ticks' the other criteria they wont refuse you solely for IELTS

I've the Qualification in Dental Technician (from grade 9th to 11th) after that I did a specialization again in Dental Technician (grade 12th and 13th) .
