Hi guys,
I have several questions about visiting US and coming back to Canada while LMO or PR application has been submitted.
I am currently on a work permit which will expire next July, and hold a TRV expiring at the same time. I have just got an offer from a company in Vancouver and they will apply LMO for me, probably next week.
1. I will visit my friend in US next week and also attend a conference there. When I come back in the middle of next month, the LMO application has been submitted for a while. In this case, will there be any problem on my re-entry at the border? I assume not, since my work permit and TRV are still valid, but not sure about it.
2. After coming back from US, I will submit my PR application under CEC stream. I am also planning that once I receive a positive LMO, I will go to US again and apply for a new work permit at the port of entry. Is this viable, given that I have submitted PR application and still hold work permit for my old employer?
Thank you guys in advance. I am expecting your input on these issues.
