Hi,

I am about to land at Toronto on September 6th with approved PR visa.
I managed to secure low skilled minimum wage paid job while still in home country.

I wonder if anyone knows if in that case I do not need to bring settlements funds with me to Canada since I would like to avoid this hassle about conversion rates and carry the money with myself personally, etc...

I would simply leave it on my local bank account and bring visa with me.
If that is possible which kind of documentation should be prepared by employer since I trust in this case he does not need LMIA.

I have read this below but I trust this is applicable to those that are in process of application and not for case such as mine is.

Thanks a lot for your valuable opinions!
Regards!

1. Unless you have an approved LMIA for permanent residence from an employer, you require proof of settlement funds on 'landing" if you are a skilled worker.
