Hi I am currently studying in Russia software engineering. I have been accepted in a college in BC for a one year post secondary certificate program in software development. I applied last year, and I had a 4 year study gap then, I explained in the letter that I was self learning and taught in the period on programming and detailed a lot of stuff, finally I got a refusal for one reason, not convincing the agent that I ll return to my original country. I went to Russia instead, and passed the whole year successfully in an advanced software engineering bachelor. Now, I am applying again this year, and I have the following question:

When I choose I want service in English, I ll write LOE in English, fill forms in English, but certain documents from native country like bank statements and such are in French, is that concerned as well to be translated to English? Last year, I didn't translate them to English, it was a mix, and nothing happened, should I be concerned?

1. No, as long as the documents are in either English or French or both, they don't have to be translated.

Ok, another question, as I am in my first year, I had gap of 4 years after high school, should I attach high school diploma beside university transcripts for first semester?

Hi, I am currently living in Russia, the question is about current residence, it says: The dates (From – To) you have been living in your country or territory of residence.

1) "have been living", well, "to" should mean the date I submit, or the date my visa expires?

2) I also, have a question about high school diploma, should I attach it with university transcripts or not? since i still I have not finished my university degree.

3) Also, I have attached a document attesting I own a flat and my father sales, is it enough to attach documents or I need to talk about that in the letter of explanation?

4) Is the LOE addressed to my home country embassy or the embassy of residence country?
