Depends. Were you simply refused? Or did you receive a misrepresentation ban on top of the refusal?

If everything is accurate in your last application then a strong SOP / Letter of explanation will be beneficial for you in future. Also, explain about your mistake happened unintentionally as mentioned by yourself. Good luck for your future endeavours.Well I just want to know what additional documents would be required?? Just add some more important points relevant to your specific case & explain the mistake happened earlier in my humble opinion. Moreover, would suggest to apply for CAIPS notes if you have time. Kindly share your profile, online or paper application, date of visa application submission & date of final decision received & you applied from where?Should I make a new sop??
Just to explain your mistake @ Was denied a USA tourist visa. In the student visa thought the question asked regarding refusal for Canada only and thus the mistake.The profile isn't a problem. It was paper based from Kenya. I have applied for caips last month. By the end of this week I should have it in hand. What do you mean by more points? An affidavit probably?
