September intake 2018 visa requirement doubt

I have received an offer letter for spetember 2018 and have paid first semester fees is vancouver islands university but it seems a new rule have come for ielts requirement in visa of no band less than 6 but i have scored an overall score of 6.5 but 5.5 in writing so which category should i apply for visa.Should i apply in generic or university?
My institution being an university is it better i apply for university as a category or general.
Is there a chance of getting my visa rejected.
Plese help me am so much worried of this.

ViU come under spp and u should appy under spp as early as possible.

But recently they have changed the ielts requirement, i scored 6.5 overall but 5.5 in one module(writing).
As per the law ssp asks no band less than 6. So what can i do nxt plz help

I u get offer letter then no worries bcoz ur offer letter comes when there is no sbs rather there was spp .
