Verification is normal - That means they are checking your Eligibility.
Medical, Eligibility, Security checks - they all can be processed simultaneously. That is why you got MR and also the call at the same day.
Do you know if they called your Supervisor directly? Or in normal office line?

they call my boss at 7.30 pm. so strange as well they asked about company and some question abt me. in total four questions. business type.. my duties. and how many employee. my docs are not home made but why they call after given medical. in the morning i got mail while same day evening my boss was answering his call.
