Separate application for me and my wife visa

Me and My wife want to visit canada for 4 days in coming months.

The "*Temporary Resident Visa" Single entry cost is $75 whereas "Family Rate" cost is $400.

Do you think it will be ok for me and my wife to file for "Single entry Resident Visa " separately rather than using Family Rate?
