Sent my application and now what?

Hi,
I have sent my application on Aug 8, 2010 and its still in transit. What happens when it reaches Sydney, NS. If I do pass the eligibility test hoping the cap limit has not yet reached. Will I get a file number then and there? How will CIO inform me about the eligibility through email or correspondence. How long will it take to transfer file from CIO to New Delhi VO?

Before 26th June it was taking typically 60-75 days to get the file number and around 10 more days to file transfer

N/S will inform you by registered post if decision is positive u will get file no. otherwise......

Suggest that you also track the progress of past submissions so that you would have a good idea as to when your application will be assessed. After you get the first AOR, CIO transfers the file to your Visa office CHC. If you check your ECAS you will a file transfer date

Currently CIO is processing 27 May. May be post 26 June have to minimum wait for one month+

sorry,as per me no one knows how the new process would be.... the final outcome is expected to be fast vs before 26 June.

I understand that the first AOR (CIO) would take longer time now as CIO has to work more (as they have more documents) vs before 26 June 10. Only the second AOR (VO) should take lesser time for process. But now they are asking PCC to be submitted to local VO so it may againg go long.

Apologies I do not want to discourage but above is what I understand.

I noticed the address change for FSW Category 1 just a day before I applied. I think they will setup a separate office to handle new cases. Any confirmation on this?
