There are two methods of having your fingerprints taken:

•Digital (electronic) fingerprinting (faster processing times)
•Traditional “ink and roll” fingerprinting (longer processing times)

You can go to Red Seal Notary they do digital (electronic) fingerprinting, so your fingerprints are captured and submitted electronically to the RCMP for processing. Although actual processing time is dependent on the RCMP, the ability to capture and submit fingerprints electronically means that clients can usually expect to receive their results in weeks rather than months.

SHE LIVES OUT SIDE CANADA SO PROBABELY WILL BE NOT ELECTRONIC.RCMC FINGER PRINT ARE READY WHERE I CAN SEND IT .
I think what he's saying is that his wife (outside of Canada) has gotten her fingerprints taken, how can she apply to the RCMP for the police clearance? (He only has the finger prints, not the RCMP clearance yet). Is this correct?

Just curious- has your wife ever lived in Canada?

In any case:

Your wife has to send her fingerprints and the application for the clearance to:
Director General
Canadian Criminal Real Time Identification Services
RCMP, NPS Bldg.
1200 Vanier Parkway
Ottawa ON K1A 0R2

Assuming it was CPP-O that requested the clearance - On the application form for the clearance, she has to indicate CPP-O as the "Name and Address of Contributing Agency/Dept" portion of the C216C.

I don't know if they send the report to you or directly to the visa office.

Once you submit your wife's fingerprints to the RCMP, you will have to respond to the visa office and inform them that you have requested the RCMP clearance, but that it will take 9 weeks to process.

Are your wife's fingerprints on the Form C216-C, or a different fingerprint form?
