Dear Seniors

Hope ur selves wld be fine by the grace of the Almighty.

Dear Pl advice myself on the issue.

I am currently working outside India as Business Development Manager for a multinational Co. My ecas status is RBVO CHC New Delhi.I have applied in April 2010.In August i got this opportunity and made my decision to join. Now my company wants to get a permit( spl permit) on my name which will cost them $ 75,000(US DOLLAR 75,000) . This amount is non refundable to them. They have entrusted myself thats why have selected my name. This is a big boast to my job. This has put myself in a very big decision to make.

1. Should i accept this for my company. If i accepts this i wont be able to leave this place for at least 15 months in normal circumstances.
2.This post requires frequent traveling and i cannot send my PP to India.
3. Is it mandatory to send ur PP to India at the time of Medical request. My family is in India and i am outside India. IS there any way out.?
4. If i tell them about my Canada application i am sure that i will loose this job as no company like short period employees at senior position. I got selected for this job from 35 people and all above 40 yrs.I am doing well here. i am 30 yrs old.
5.This job is in my hand and if i am not able to secure Canada PR all will be lost for me. As a bird in hand is better than 2 in the bush.

i am very confused .kindly help me plss.I don't want to keep anybody in dark.

1. IMMIGRATION vs JOB -- these 2 r non-comparable. We don't opt to immigrate 'only' for job/s -- it's entirely another matter/outlook of life.

2. Secondly, immigration is not for Sr. ppl. It's for youngsters -- if one is a GM or a Director of a Co. -- it'd be foolhardy to look for immigrating - unless he's a criminal.

3. Immigrating always puts one into [some sort of] discomfort. Remember that.

The above 3 pointers should help u decide...

Hi

Congrats for the special assignment.

Well, as others have mentioned, it is totally dependent how you want to move and what is the reason for your move as an immigrant to Canada.

If you are settled and planning to move to Canada for a better future, my advise would be to focus currently on your career. This is my advise. Something you already have in your hand and you know its worth, then I think you alone should be able to take this decision.

Yes, if you choose to stay with your company then you cannot apply and comply the requirement of immigration you know it well.

My advice, stay with them and if you want in future and if its good for you, maybe you can later file for Canada...!

Best of luck

Dear Bro

Thanks for ur invaluable inputs. Kindly advice whether it is mandatory to send PP to India with the medicals or there is any way out like requesting the CHC to exempt the main applicant for PP @ this time due to some business commitments.

Thanks

You cannot stop living your present in hope for the future. Immigration is something you cannot be sure of till you land in Canada after getting your Visa. I would suggest take the opportunity as & when it comes, thereafter things work out as & when they come to a point when you need to make a decision. Don't fret & get tense with how will you send your Passports right now!!
First get to that stage where you are in a position to make this decision. Believe me, things will work out much better then.
Lastly keep morality aside, because when the time comes, your Company will not think twice before chucking you out !!!

Thanks Yukon,

For the advice, its very true that we cannot stop living our present in hope for the future.

Thanks again buddy

Pal

Let the immigration thing run its course whilst you keep running your job and life. When you get to each stage of the process the options will become clearer. For now, just get on with your life, enjoy your job and family and let your canada application go through the process. When it is time to submitt your passport, I believe a way out will present itself.

Congrats and Peace!!!
