Sending US passport, photo copy questions

Just got the letter requesting a photocopy of my US passport. :D I just want to confirm some things to be sure I don't trip at the finish line here!

1. the request letter says to send a copy of the photo page and any "amendments" to the passport. I looked on this forum for posts about what counted as "amendments" but I think the answers I found were for passports from different countries. The post I found said to scan in a page that said "reserved for official entries", but I don't see any pages that say that in mine. I have not changed names or marital status or anything that would be reflected on a passport. Is there a page I am supposed to scan that proves it has no amendments? none of the things written on the pages make that clear. I have alot of stamps in mine, do they count those as amendments because they are changes to the passport? I feel dumb asking, I assume its not referring to the stamps, but I want to confirm my assumption is right.

2. Are they picky on the definition of "photocopy"? If I scan them into my computer and print them in color, does that count? or do I have to use a photocopy machine?....I know its a dumb question, but since is government and they can split hairs on things like that....I just want to make sure.

Thank you. I'm so close to done, I want to dance!!! ;D
