Sending police clearance individually

I wont be able to submit my police clearance along with my application.

1- Could i send it immediately when i receive it even without a request from CIC or do i have to wait for their request?

2- If i could send without their request,on which address should i send them on? the same address i sent my application on or (in my case)London visa office ?

3- What information should i provide while sending the PCC individually ? (is their a reference number CIC will provide when they receive my application that i should mention with the PCC) ?

If you have NOT submitted it aongwith your application then preferably wait for the UCI number to be issued by CIC in writing. Once you have a file number than send them a letter mentioning your UCI and copy of the acknowledgement from CIC.
