Sending Passports to London from Canada

Hi All,

I just submitted my application to CIC-M for sponsorship approval and then the app will be headed to London. My boyfriend, who I am sponsoring as my common law partner, and I currently live in London, but will be travelling for the summer and heading to Canada in September. He is Irish and should be able to enter as a visitor long enough for PR approval to come through(fingers crossed).

If he is asked to send his passport to London before September, can we wait until he is in Canada to send it off?

Will they have any problem with him sending his passport from Canada?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Yes he can send it from Canada, and no they don't care. Consider him lucky though, London is one of the few offices that will return passports outside their jurisdiction.
